About Gili Beeri

 

I am a mother to three beautiful children, wife to my husband, David, and birth doula located in Marina Del Rey, California. I hold doula certification through DONA International, and received my certification in 2010. In addition, I am certified in the Hypnobirthing method of birth support. I believe that the birth of your baby is an extreemly important, memorable day, and it is my goal to support Los Angeles area women in having the birth experience they desire. It is my job as your doula to empower you mentally, physically and emotionally through your journey to motherhood. 

 

I came to doula work during my pregnancies. I wanted to be informed about birthing options, and in doing my own research, I discovered doulas. I knew my passion for birth meant something, so I decided to pursue doula education. My overall educational and professional background is in teaching and counseling. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Hunter College, and my Master's Degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.

 

As a woman who was born and raised in Israel, I have a unique passion for working with Hebrew speaking mothers. I also teach Hebrew and Judaica to children and adults. 

 

I love supporting women, helping them discover their inner strength, and empowering families to make informed decisions around their birth. I look forward to meeting with you and learning about your ideal birth!
